I wanted to create some work using typography as the main content. I decided to play around with different typefaces and found a serif and a sans serif that worked well. I have also played around with colour, but for this poster I chose just a subtle dark red to suit the brown paper it was printed on. The illustration of the monkey playing a drum was first drawn by hand, developed then scanned into Photoshop where it could be adapted and manipulated.
